MAN CAVE PUZZLES PRESENTS

RTV Omega – Ghostbusters Afterlife Remote Trap Vehicle (RTV)

RTV Omega is a functional, fan-built interpretation of the Ghostbusters: Afterlife Remote Trap Vehicle (RTV). Designed as a working RC prop rather than a static display, it drives, crouches, produces smoke and sound, operates illuminated trap doors and uses a converted vintage Futaba radio with a voice-guided menu system in 14 languages, battery-level reporting and low-battery warnings.

Small-batch release planned for October 2026 · subject to beta validation

WHY OMEGA EXISTS

A second-generation RTV

RTV Omega is a complete redesign of my previous Man Cave Puzzles RTV project. The original project resulted in a dozen full kit builds, as well as 6 complete RTVs.

Building those RTVs — and helping other builders complete theirs — produced a long list of things I wanted to improve. Omega applies those lessons to the electronics, controls, mechanical systems, lighting, sound, assembly process and overall screen accuracy.

The goal is not simply a more complicated RTV. It is a better-developed one.

PLANNED RELEASE

Small-batch production

RTV Omega kits and fully completed RTVs are planned for release in October 2026. Initial quantities will remain deliberately limited while the first production builds are validated and supported.

Pre-release builder validation is underway. Reliability and kit validation take priority over hitting an arbitrary date.

US

U.S. ordering

U.S. import requirements and costs are currently being reviewed following recent tariff changes. U.S. customers are welcome to follow the project or join the interest list while the best shipping and ordering arrangement is confirmed.

BUILDER SUPPORT

The sale is not the end of the project

Man Cave Puzzles RTV builders have an established community for build help, updates and troubleshooting. RTV Omega is also being discussed in the long-running GBFans RTV build thread.

Designed, developed and built in Canada.
